Where do i even start? I guess from the beginning. Oh, yes! First off i will let you know that i am not a writer. I actually dislike writing. I was never really good at it. For those of you that do write, please be gentle on me. lol

Ok, from the beginning.. On January 23, 2017, actually it was probably the day before, i came across a video on Youtube mentioning that sugar is bad. Ok, I always knew that it was bad, but something inside me clicked. On Jan 23rd, i decided to slowly drop all added sugary stuff from my diet. First to go was the dreaded Coca Cola! My favorite was the Classic. yes, it was my weakness… ask anyone. lol  Then it was sugary carb stuff like breads, crackers, cereals, pastas ect. Much to my surprise i didn’t have any problems. Unlike the other times i tried to go on a diet I felt like complete utter crap for days – massive headache, fatigue, and all that comes with sugar withdrawal. If you have ever had that feeling you know exactly what I mean. Once the sugar and bad carbs were gone the cravings went along with them. During this change I lost about 15 pounds. Yay Me! :0)

On March 1st 2017, I started to eat low carb high fat ( LCHF ) then added 18:6 intermittent fasting. I will talk about that journey in future posts. As of March 22nd i have lost 23.8lbs. So far there is no looking back. I will say that it won’t be an easy lifestyle change (not a diet) but I do have to say that i am enjoying it so far.
